Grantham Civic Society was formed over 60 years ago. We are concerned with ensuring the historic market town of Grantham with its fine red brick buildings is enhanced, preserved and adapted to the needs of the residents and businesses in the 21st Century.
What we do
We try to encourage re-use of redundant buildings and we assess proposed new developments to determine what their impact might be on the town’s historic heart.
Events
We host a number of exciting events for members and friends throughout the year that explore the history of Grantham and promote discussion and debate.
