A Tale of Two Barrowbys - recent archaeological discoveries west of Grantham

Talk by Naomi Field a local archaeologist, at Grantham Museum, Thursday 20th February at 2.30pm.

Visit to Rotherham and Wentworth Woodhouse

Thursday 3rd April, depart the Meres Leisure Centre at 8.30am. Guided tour of Rotherham hosted by their Civic Society followed by a visit to Wentworth Woodhouse. The price of the trip excludes entrance to the house and gardens. Currently standard price for admission is £14.50 per adult. There is a discount of £2 per adult for NT members and is free for Historic Houses members. The admission price is to be paid on the day by each guest.

Visit to Stow on the Wold

Monday 16th June. Departing the Meres Leisure Centre at 8.30am. Guided visit to Stow on the Wold by members of their Civic Society, follwed by free time for lunch and looking around the town.
